This LO is of my eldest DS who has been selected to be part of our South African National Karate Team. South Africa will be hosting the ISKF (International Shotokan Karate Federation) World Cup in August this year in Cape Town. 4 of their team were asked to come and do a karate demonstration for one of our local television channels. The theme of the programme was all about Japan.

My son went for his Black Belt grading later that evening on the same date, and is now a very proud Black Belt Shodan! What an exciting day for him it was!
The camera and film strips were just printed out from the computer, cut out and I added glossy accents to the camera.
Background was done on plain white paper with misting, paint splatters, gel medium stenciling and some distress ink.
