Very touching! I am so sorry about your Mother not getting a transplant, and I agree, everyone should donate! Bless your dh and dd for getting those tatoos.
Journaling - July 2006 Kevin & I had just returned from the US Transplant Games in Louisville Kentucky. Katie was hot and heavy to go get another Tatoo. She told us she wanted a skull with a bow. Katie was very intent on this - much to my dismay. Her daddy went with her. When they returned home her foot was bandaged. Kevin asked "don't you wnat to see it?" - Under the bandage was a green donate life ribbon and I burst into tears. She did that for me! Katie said "Don't you want to see Dad's?" Kevin came in the room showing me his donate life ribbon with his moms initials along with mine. This was his first tatoo @ 46. Kevin's Mom died waiting on the Lung Transplant List. (Around the circles) Tears were everywhere. I cried & cried & cried & cried.
