While visiting family in Nashville, we went to the Frist Center for the Arts to see their exhibit about Egypt. My oldest loved it and had to see EVERYTHING and read EVERY SIGN, but my youngest was ready to leave the whole time we were there. My oldest loves Egyptian things and since we homeschool I felt that this would be a prime opportunity for him.
What I used: CS: Dark Copper Specialty Paper: Crinkled Gold by Paper Company, and a piece of metallic blue (source unknown) Embellishments: Tickets from event, Chipboard Eye of Horus. Misc egyptian symbols.
Oh and I also took some medical guaze and darkened it with Color Box liquid chalk (creamy brown) to give it an aged look....this ties in with the mummies we saw.
Note: All embellies were free-hand (except tickets). I will add the journaling later on the rectangular tag in center of paper.
