We were just hanging out in the back yard. I was trying to get pictures of the puppy, but as that was getting frustrating (have you tried to take a picture of something that wont stay still?!?) I just put the camera down. This is when DD decided to start posing and being cute (this always seems to happen in her favorite dress. Lets face it ladies, yes! the right outfit can change your mood). So I snapped a few pictures. Actually 5 really great pictures. But after I thought of this LO I realized I only had space for 2. Bummer...the other 3 had great expressions. They will end up in 1 of 3 places...I will hold on to them hoping to scrap them someday and never do, eventually I WILL scrap them, OR I'll give the prints to DD for the next time she wants to make a scrapbook page. This LO was fun to make. I lifted the idea of all the flowers from someone else I had seen. But I ran out of flowers. My friend said to supplement the empty space with ink. So i had fun with HS's ink sprays. After everything was glued down I added the stamping...inspired by my friend Lillymommy (she is the queen of stamping. Until I saw her stuff I had no idea its versatility!). I stamped both the BG and the vellum butterfly. The words are TH's rub ons...what a nightmare! I had been hoarding them because they are so pretty I wanted them for the perfect LO. Then I try to make this and they just wouldn't rub on! Agh. I wrestled with that for quite a while. I did make a mistake on this LO that I HATE (but I wont point it out to you...hopefully you wont see it and be as annoyed with it as I am). But otherwise I really like this LO. I did it specifically for the June color challenge and I am getting it in on the last night! Whoo hoo! TFL
