Great Journaling! Both my parents an dh know to donate everything, I've always felt that way (I was six when I told my mom to donate my organs and to bury me in my tennis shoes-NO DRESS-with my hair in a pony tail-odd child I was!). It's nice to know you're here because someone cared enough to give. When we were dating dh said he wouldn't, I said fine, then when we get married I'll have it written that my parents have final say. He said he didn't want everything donated, I told him then I better not be the one they ask, because I will let them take everything.

Bev, great journaling & tonight my family and I are all going to talk, we have a son who will be 18 on the 23rd and he has gone through a lot in the past year and there are things I would like him and all my kids to know. Thanks for sharing.

You know when your standing in line at the store & some strange woman starts talking to you ... That's Me. I'll talk to anyone about, just about, anything. My favorite thing is Organ donation - I'm alive because someone donated their loved ones heart to me. Talking about it puts a face to a cause. I'm gonna tell you to talk to your family & have a conversation!
