Beautiful layout for such wonderful memories - what a heartfelt and beautiful tribute for someone who is missed so much. My mother passed 16 years ago and I still miss her. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way.
This is stunning! I know the loss of a parent can be so hard. I lost my dad 10 years ago this June and it is still difficult and I find things reminding me of him all the time. This page is a beautiful tribute to your mom.
Aww! I'm so sorry for your loss!! This is just GORGEOUS, and such a touching tribute! Beautiful journaling as well! Thanks for playing in the July Mixed Media Challenge!
Xx
What a stunning tribute cuz, as i read the journaling my tears are flowing for i know what a difficult time this is for you. It's perfect and beautiful in every way just as your mom. I am sure she is smiling down on you as you have added all her favorite things along with your love on this layout.
This is such a beautiful and loving tribute to your mom. Your heartfelt words touched my soul. It's never easy to lose someone we love, but such a comfort to know we'll get to see them again someday. Your hidden journaling is spot on. I especially like the envelope on the bottom L with the little owl above.
What a beautiful and moving tribute page for your mom and her sweet memory. I can just feel all that went into this, I know how emotional this was. Your words are perfect, your can fell how they are straight from your heart. Just stunning. I am so sorry for your loss.
Wonderfully presented and a lovely tribute. You amazingly captured the essence of your mother. Thank you for sharing your journalling (letter). Wherever she is your mother is sending rays of cheer and good will to you and yours. As you say until you meet in the sunshine.
This layout is a tribute to my mom, who sadly passed away in February this year. Lots of tears went into making this! The hidden journaling reads as follows: ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ If heaven has a post box, please send me the address! I still have so much I want to tell you! You left us very unexpectedly, and we all miss you so much! Your absence still does not fee real, and I expect to hear your voice over the phone at any time. The most difficult thing for me is not being able to talk to you anymore, or just hear your voice, or listen to your advice. I am so incredibly blessed to be called your daughter, and can only hope to be half the woman you were to so many people! Thank you for all of life's lessons you've taught me, you were a one-of-a-kind mother! Thank you for all the wonderful memories you have given me, I will cherish them forever! In my heart, this is not good-bye... it's simply "till we meet again" in heaven! Until then, I'll keep buying yellow flowers to brighten up my home, enjoy the smell of lavender, keep sniffing my fresh laundry and "smelling the sunshine", keep seeing owls as wonderful creatures, and try my best to be as good a mother to my kids as you were to us! I'll treasure each and every moment spent with you! Please bear with me as I imagine myself talking to you, or look up to the sky wishing that I could see you one more time. Hope heaven is treating you well, as you deserve only the best! *** Magdalene Eleanor Gail Swanepoel (Heilmann)*** 14 July 1950 - 16 February 2016
