While on vacation we decided to go to Downtown Denver to see the fireworks. It was Spectacular! There were 100,000 people, 2 live concerts, food trucks and so much fun patriotism. DD was great, she loved the wole experience and so did DH and I. Which was surprising, in FL neither of us has been to a 4th of July event...its just too hot to be crowded around that many people. this may creat a new tradition..."be somewhere else for the 4th of July!" Haha

This LO was fun to make. I made a stencil from a piece of paper and embossed the circles of red, white, and blue. then I added the punched stars as an extra layer....at that point I was all in and just filled it up patriotic goodness. This LO really expresses how I felt that night. Despite all the craziness in the world (and don't get me started on elections) this is still a pretty sweet country to live in.
