I finally got around to "lifting" a design from our dear friend, Marylou, (Meggie's Nana), who made a card like this for me. I have it hanging on my card display in my Craft Palace, saw it today, and decided to give it a try. So, I took it down, did a bunch of measuring and chose paper I wanted to use, only to find out I had cut it wrong! Then I chose the paper pictured here, did some more measuring, folding, goofing up, and then trying again! Hahaha. I was just about to take her card apart to see how she did and I told myself, NO, if I can't figure it out on my own, then too bad! LOL Well, I finally figured it out and I sort of like how it turned out! :-)

Again, I used paper scraps (been trying to do more of that lately). This is for my eldest cousin of my grandparents grandkids, who I got to see this summer when I went to CA and got a little closer to! (I'm the youngest)

Did a little inking around the edges, stamping, used twine ribbon from Walmart and added a key. Pretty simple and sweet. You'd think I wouldn't have had such a hard time figuring out that angle folding!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week!
