I love your journaling with all the history! I had heard about the Stone of Scone/Destiny but nothing about the Egyptian princess. I love your color combo - soft browns and blues.

I never knew about her or how Scotland got its name. You mentioned it was a legend but a lot of legends have a couple ounces of truth in them. This is a silly question, but is this where Scones were created? After seeing your layout on the Palace of Scones, it made me curious. The seat is fascinating - how historical! And I've never heard of the Stone of Destiny. So much history here! Beautiful layout and I love the crown and the picture. Love that you captured deer standing in front of the church - huge deer!

2015, Scone Palace - Moot Hill - The Crowning Place of Kings

soooo rich in history right here in this spot! The last monarch crowned in this spot was Charles II but the Stone of Destiny is used in all coronations and sits in a special holder under the coronation chair. I have done a layout about this before. But to set foot here was amazing!
