Give a Cheer
Made this card for a friend who loves cutesy and is a little edgy to celebrate her recent engagement to her long-time boyfriend.
I thought the Marilyn Monroe song, "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" would make a funny engagement card sentiment. :) I used a free scripty font for the "are a girl's best" and die cut the "Friend" from an intricate background die by Crafter's Companion 5 times and stacked them to create a Thicker-like look. And of course the "Diamonds" are all heat embossed with Ranger gold embossing powder using all the gems from an Essentials by Ellen stamp set called "Hello Gorgeous."
I Copic colored The Greeting Farm Hatters stamp, fussy cut her out and popped her up on double sided foam adhesive. I positioned her so she looks like she's "standing" on the "F."
