This is so beautiful and yet so masculine. I love the idea of the pocket and a bookmark. The matching envelope is such a great idea. I know your nephew will love this.
Wow! I love how you blended all those patterns n color made it work fantastically! I love it! I,m not very good at that, yet....LOL Thanks for the inspiration!
Well, you know where there is a will there is a way! I like how you redesigned the fold & pocket idea, very clever actually! Love the papers & tucking the bookmark inside. Beautiful! Now I am going to have to lift from you, lol!:)) I think I just saw a pig fly by!!!!!
Sharing a card design that I "lifted" from our friend Marylou (Meggie's Nana). She has been teasing me about not making a pocket card for awhile now and although this design isn't like her pocket cards, the folded part is and since I put the folds upright it can also be used as a pocket card! LOL That little musical paper can be removed as used as a bookmark if my nephew would like to do that!
The green paper underneath was a piece of leftover paper from another project that I had punched. It is from Tim Holtz Wallflower as well as the pocket part. The music paper is from his Lost & Found collection. I think the brads are from Hobby Lobby and the button in the middle was from an old shirt that was either my husband's or son's.
The envelope was made from Colorbok's Vintage Treasures paper pack.
