Great job!!! LOVE the texture paste, the sentiment, the bird stamp, those charms, and I've never heard of clear embossing all over something - I'm going to have to try that! Thx for sharing!
Beautiful! I know what you mean about challenges! They restrict me most of the time and if you do win sometimes you Never get your RAKs! Happened to me more than I care to say!
Love this tag! Great application of technique here. Strong intense colors with strong acute shading, topped of with the brilliant white texturing to make an fierce pop of all the elements, Nicely done!
Very pretty & I like that technique, I may have to try it. Wasn't the surface kind of rough to stamp on & did you sprinkle the embossing powder right away when it was still a little damp? His ink dries quickly so just wondering?:)))
"That's all there is to it", makes me giggle. You have done such fun techniques on this. This is definitely a multi-process tag and it is gorgeous. I love knowing every step. Such a beautiful result to lots of steps. Sweet and elegant.
Your tag is so beautiful. The color technique is perfect and the stenciling a beautiful touch. The techniques blended together pulls and compliments the tag great idea
This is the first tag I've ever made and it was actually supposed to be for a challenge in a group on Facebook that I belong to. When I went back to find out how to enter it I found other stipulations to the rules that I just wasn't really interested in doing so I won't be entering it. The original requirements were to use 3 elements...inking, stencil and modeling paste.
So, for my background, I used a Tim Holtz technique. I inked the white cardstock background directly from two different distress ink pads; Wilted Violet and Salty Ocean. Then sprinkle clear embossing powder over all and heat emboss just until it turns clear. Then rubbed Black Soot over all and then wiped off excess with a paper towel. I stamped my images with Ranger Jet Black Archival ink (it must be permanent ink). Then I inked the edges with the archival ink. Used my stencil and homemade texture paste. Added trim at the bottom, ribbon and charms at the top. That's all there is to it! I just love the background texture from the embossing. The stamps are Tim Holtz Urban Grunge clear stamp set.
