This page I had a hard time as well. At first I didn't know what colors I should use. I then do what I usually do...find out what my focal point is. The way I interpret focal point may be different for others. But the way I have done it has had me come out with nice stuff.

I wanted to bring out my cousins shirt which is red and use her as a focal point. From there I found a blue that sorta matched her shirt. Cut the blue into a 4x7 strip and corner rounded the right corners.

I then took sand paper and distressed the picture. Tacked down the picture to the blue card stock and placed it somewhat in the middle. Using rub-ons again, (this time Heidi Swapp fuzzy rub-ons) applied the together at the end. Also with the fuzzy rub-ons I've added brother to the upper right hand side of the picture and sister to the bottom left.

Wanted to try something different and I actually did.
