didnt know it was gonna take this turn but after trying to work it for a skateboarding lo - we had one of "those" days & this is what I ended up with
everything from designerdigitals
journaling:Tonight I caught myself stopping in my tracks to evaluate this thing called motherhood. I know I am hard on you, I don’t know why maybe because you are first born, because you are a boy, because I had brothers, I am not certain but I know that on this journey we share there must be times where we pause and just love each other. As you slept I just sat on your bed in tears son, I love you more than breathe itself and I don’t want to fail you. I will lighten up, I will renegotiate my way through parenting you, I will allow the love I have for you drive my awareness of how I discipline and confront issues with you. I will pause & regroup as many times as it takes to help you grow into the man you have been called to become. I hope you will always know that you & me - we are in this together. Its new for both of us & I will make mistakes, I will backtrack, I will change my mind, I will confront you, discipline you, challenge you and love you, I want absolutely what’s best for you and that’s why its so important that we take these moments and regroup. I am so proud to be your mommy! I love you.
