this in my travel journal enrty from my recent visit from Fairy Scrap Mother (FSM)...we had a great time...just wanted to share...she is now on her way to Florida!.....
Journaling Reads:
FSM arrived in Illinois for her next stop to visit Toofclnr!
She was able to stay from November 3-10, a whole week!
I must say that FSM did not receive a very warm
Welcome when she arrived here on Friday!
I got home from work to find a box sitting on
My porch, I was so excited I could hardly
Breathe (as you can imagine). I took the box
Inside and opened it as fast as I could. . .Out jumped FSM!!!!
She was so beautiful! Much more beautiful in person than on the
Computer screen! Also the goodies sent to me from her last visit
Were a super fun surprise! I had to take pictures!!! I ran off to get
My camera and when I came back, my cat Amos decided someone
Else was getting more attention than him. He was up on my
Desk checking her out. So I decided to take some photos of
Them together, FSM and her new friend!…. . .
Well, I was looking through the viewfinder to get the perfect
Picture and all of a sudden Amos bit FSM on the head…. . . YIKES!
As you can see from the blurry photo I jumped at him
Immediately and off he ran. Thank goodness FSM had no injuries and
We did not have to make a trip to the hospital her first night with me.
Saturday FSM had a much better night, I had a 12 crop
To attend in Chicago, IL. FSM went with me and was a hit
At the party. There she met up with
Another scrapbook mascot named Polly. I think
Polly was a rat, but they got along great and had fun visitng
While I scrapped.
Monday FSM got to try her hand at helping us
With my son’s science project. She had some great ideas and
The outcome was perfect.
The rest of FSM’s visit was pretty uneventful unfortunately
Things got real busy here at my house and
FSM just sat by and shook her head at the chaos.
My husband said that the fairy scrap mother needed
Super powers to help out with all the craziness here.
But overall, we had a great visit and I loved having her
Here to share a week of my life with me.
I just hope she doesn’t start talking one day and
Spill my deep dark secrets of how dirty and nuts my
House is, who has time to clean when
there is scrapping to be done??
