I just emptied my Hershey's Cocoa can a few days ago, almost threw it away, and then decided it would make a great altered project to hold some craft items.

I covered the body and the center part of the lid with Kirby Teesdale Studio paper from the Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby.

I made this with the Cricut Challenge in mind (the last submission of 3 required for the month). On the front I used the Reminisce Cartridge on my Cricut Expression. The pretty piece was cut out using plain cardstock. I inked it in with Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers and immediately heat embossed using Zing clear embossing powder. Also did a little stamping first using Tim Holtz French Market clear stamps. (The pretty flourish at the bottom.) Also used one of my handmade flowers and a Reneabouquets lovely dragonfly. The lovely pearl and pleated trim is from Pamela Wright's boutique. I painted the lid with Adirondack Gold Metallic Dabber, applied lovely trim from Hobby Lobby and added my die cut butterfly embellished with pearls.
