Give a Cheer
I had this "trial" no line watercolored My Favorite Things "You Have My Heart" stamped image left over from the card I shared previously, but this image turned out much darker (what happens when you wet your watercolor pencil tips before each time you color with them). But I never throw out my work if I think I may be able to salvage it. I decided to play with some Ken Oliver Color Bursts with some water in a sprayer for a sky with impressions of clouds, and that seemed to match the color intensity pretty well.
Then I just did some wonky paper layering, added a piece of vellum for visual softness, did some machine stitching at the top, and added some strings of pink flat back pearls to add texture and interest.
