this is a layout from the Altered Book I made for my fiance's neice, called Courage. She had moved away and was feeling overwhelmed and needed love and inspiration. This features a puzzle decoupaged with her picture as well as some drawings (colored with prismacolor pencils and acrylic paints.) The stencil from Faber-Castell helped the background. The title is actually a flip up card revealing a message I wrote her. It is tied with floss threads. The heart opens right to show another quote. the drawing in the lower right corner houses a two sided tag with quotes and adorned with seed beeds and ribbon.
