Wonderful lay out. The contrast between the black and white photo and the warm colors of the page is amazing. It's like every inch of this page is the focal point of the lay out. Beautiful picture of your granddaughter. You have managed to capture her beautiful and innocent soul which is reflected through those gorgeous and very expressive eyes.
Beautiful page with a wonderful photo, she is so cute! You seem to have a gift for color and the different combinations. The blues you came up with it blend perfectly with everything, very talented.
Oh my where does one start? Every inch of this is created with so much love! Wonderful photo of dgd & all the elements you put into this as well as those gorgeous flowers. Every time I look at it I see something else I missed! WOW! WOW! WOW!:))
And what a beauty it is!! Love the soft colour palette, your textures and technique work are awesome! So glad I got to see this lovely layout and cute picture of your dgd. Nice work, Randi!!
Such gorgeous work! and I can feel the love you put into it : ) I like the bits of stamping and the stencil; looks awesome~ You have all the right 'touches' here! and your dgd is beautiful, such a great pic*
The more time I spend admiring your stunning page the more beautiful details I find to love. I enjoy reading about your creative process. You are very talented at transforming and enhancing your embellishments. Exceptional LO!
Another stunning layout from you! It is beautifully designed and so wonderfully embellished! The color combination, altered flowers, burlap pieces, photo, sea shells, and the little bottle are just adorable!!!
It was a beautiful sunny day when I was able to get this photograph of dgd. She was seven. So this photograph is a few years old now. But I have always loved this photo of her silhouetted against the strong back-light of the sun. I used the B side from a piece of Blue Fern Paper from the "Seaside Cottage" collection. It's a beautiful collection - as usual. I had fun during the process of this layout. I took some white bulk flowers and mixed different medias together to come up with the color to get the blue I wanted; sprayed them, then added some touches of white using some gesso and Prima "Frost" Color Spray; used some older and fairly newer Prima Flowers, some Heidi Swapp Glitter stickers, some burlap, seashells, did some random stamping, masking (just a teeny bit), added a bead and some gypsy cord to the wire thread to frame the photo - originally wanted to add a mini white and turquoise blue feather and blue and white beads, but didn't have feathers small enough, and couldn't find my beads. I threw in some art stones and beads, and added a personal message in the little bottle in lieu of sand. There are many things in life that are treasures, but none like family and friendships! Thank you for looking!
