I love every detail on this card, the flowers are awesome with so much detail! This card truly looks like a labor of love! Do you ever make a card you love and just can't give it away? I guess I do that to a point, then just the right "need" comes along so I'll mail it off. Great card!
More of your amazing flowers. You do such a beautiful job with your hibiscus flowers. Your stitched edges add so much dimension and interest. Lovely card.
I recently learned how to make dimensional paper flowers at the card making class I took at the Scrapbook Expo and so I have been itching to create some and add them to cards. For this card, I used the Heartfelt Creations Tropical Hibiscus stamp and die set with white card stock, inked on some color with some Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade, and hand embossed the flowers to create some dimension. I did the same thing with the leaves, but used Mowed Lawn Distress Ink.
I die cut the card front and a large fishtail banner with Avery Elle's Dotted Dies Set and then hand stitched the edges with pink embroidery floss. The sentiment is a word die cut that I inked with more Picked Raspberry Ink.
