Not sure exactly what this stitching is called, but I like to refer to it as netting corner stitching. It might look complicated, but it's actually really easy. Don't know quite how to explain how to do it, hoping the diagram is self-explanatory. Basically you go from the lowest point#1 vertically to the highest point#8 (or however points if you want more) horizontally, or vice versa. In other words, lowest to highest (horizontal to vertical) or highest to lowest#. Hope this makes sense? Give it a try, it really is easy, and looks great on a lot of layouts, especially beach layouts!
