Your layout is beautiful but I am enthralled by the filigreed iron stair case. What an amazing place to spend the night. Nice page design on this.

Wow - that's really green in the photo. It's not nearly that bright in RL.

The stairs to the 2nd floor were stone/granite (??) and were very worn in areas from the centuries of use. The stairs to the 3rd floor were tile and wood.

When we left for dinner, we could hear the monks chatting and singing. It was beautiful.

We only had an overnight stay but I could've stayed longer and explored more.
