WOW! The rapids look dangerous - I cannot believe that people do that for fun! And I love the story of the geese and all of your gorgeous photos! Amazing!
This is a very pretty layout - I always feel like I have to mat everything and this looks awesome without mats. It makes the whole layout just flow! You always have such great ideas for your layouts! I need to keep this one in mind and think twice about mats on every layout! Sometimes they look better without mats! Also love the way the punchwork peeks through! That is one of my favorite punches!
Beautiful. I love the letters you used - the shadow is very eye catching. I don't know you do it, but I just love how you can get your 2-pagers so symmetrical!
The Old Mill District and the iconic smokestacks is a historical area formerly occupied by two lumber mills. The last one closed in 1983 and is now an area known for shops, galleries, and restaurants. Near the district, is the Bend Whitewater Park. The city built two degrees of rapids for people to go down. The Canadian geese really cracked us up. they flipped over to feed under the water and their little feet would go like crazy to keep them down in the current. Thanks for your visit.
