So to commerate my son's achievement of becoming a Fire Chief I made him this "plaque". I went on the website of the Fire Department he is going to be working for and downloaded their emblem. I then cut it apart. I used the Circut to cut lettering to use. The base of this plaque is jet black, which makes the whole thing just pop. I will be framing this and giving it to him for his wall in his office! I'm so excited. My son is only 30 years, and has been serving as a volunteer firefighter for a llttle over 10 years. In this time, he as moved into a Captain position, and has assisted the Fire Chief in our department with many matters. He has written policies and had done a lot of training on his own time to get to this point in his life. Now he has been hired to be the Fire Chief in a neighbouring county!! My heart can burst with pride......
