Me and my babies at the beach THIS MONTH! (One thing I love about living in So Cal!) That's rare in and of itself! LOL I stormed back into the scrapping scene this weekend with three pages and this one came together the fastest. Helps when the mojo returns! HA! Now that I'm done with my challenges, I can relax and enjoy my crop this weekend without the pressure to finish something in time. YAAY!!
This is for the Music Inspiration Challenge. Artesha gave me a sweet love song "Nothing Has Ever Felt Like This" by Will Downing & Rachelle Ferrell. I used the line "I love my life with you" as my title and I think it is perfect for this photo. I really really love my life with my babies. They drive me bananas at least once a day, but I wouldn't change a thing! I do have both kids here, but you can't tell I'm holding my squirmy daughter as we were searching the sand for 'critters' for our bucket.
We had a triple-digit day the first weekend in October and after melting at DS' soccer game we decided to head off to the beach. Being Fall the beach was deserted and we had a wonderful day. This is Dockweiler Beach, right under LAX so, not only do we have the sand, tide pools and waves to entertain us, we have a take-off from two separate runways every 30 seconds! Saw some big ones that day and the kids love it! It was truly a wonderful day and so very appropriate for this song lyric!
Now, I rarely scrap myself - Um in a swimsuit, you MUST be crazy! - but when DH snapped this pic, the lighting gave me a little break and I rolled with it! HA!
This is also for the 5 Ingredients challenge: large photo (5x7 here), 3 patterned papers (I have four), washi (the bottom strip is a clear washi strip), twine, flowers and bird. The bird was a real challenge until I found that P.H. embellie.
Also for Sports/Play and my Hoarders challenge. I think that flower on the top right is the oldest thing here! LOL! Old Soft Spoken sticker pack I got on clearance.
