I have a friend who is going through a difficult move and has had to move back in with her whole family into her mother's house for a while. I know she loves Halloween so I thought this little easel scene card / flameless tea light holder might be something with which she could decorate her little corner of the house.

I made this with an old door stamp that I had and used an X-Acto blade to cut open the door (I also stamped the back side of the door so that it would have the door panel details on both sides). I doodled on cracks, rows of bricks above the door and the few steps below the door to create the whole entryway scene. The little ghost couple is coming out of the door of the haunted mansion, and just to add a little extra fun, I attached the vampire ghost to the door with a salvaged piece of clear plastic packaging so that he would fly out when the door is opened.

I made this into an easel card and adhered a scrap of polka dot vellum (colored on the reverse side with a purple color) from my scrap box in the door opening so that placing a flameless tea light behind the easel panel would create a little tea light glow.

I also used Lawn Fawn Critters in Costume, Booyah, and Happy Hauntings to decorate the little scene with Halloween cuteness.
