I too sort mine the way you do.. just in the upright Cropper Hopper holders. I like your cabinet though.

Patterned Paper Organization

Finally I am done organizing my patterned papers! I am using two drawer units from IKEA named "Erik". It contains two drawers, the lower drawer contains hanging files. I removed the top drawer since the hanging files are made for papers sized A4 and not for 12 x 12 scrapbook papers. Since this means the papers are higher than the hanging files, it is very easy to browse the papers when looking for the "right" one. I have sorted my papers in the following categories: Transparent, Vellum, White, Beige, Yellow, Orange, Red, Pink, Lilac, Dark Blue, Blue, Light Blue, Turqoise, Green, Brown, Grey, Black, Multicolored, Stripes, Dots, Stars, Flowers and Christmas. I have made a divider for each category and placed it in the left front of every hanging folder, so I can locate the category I am looking for very fast and easy. I just love love this way of storing my papers :)
