We have been beside ourselves with worry followed by heartfelt gratitude related to serious health issues of our senior dog, Biscuit, who about a month ago had oral surgery (resorption of 14 teeth required extractions of all of them and their roots) and just yesterday had bloody vomiting (diagnosed and treated for pancreatitis) that required a hospitalization over night.

As frightened and worried as we were, we were also thankful that we had the financial means to provide Biscuit with the best medical care and grateful that she indeed received such wonderful care from the attendants, vet techs, and veterinary ER and surgical teams.

I made this card to bring to the veterinarian's office along with a gift basket of goodies for when we go to pick up Biscuit later today. The background has sprayed, embossed and inked die cut leaves, lots of paper scrap layering (including a vellum layer to soften the bright leaves just around the focal image), and a Copic no line colored The Greeting Farm Cuddles Anya image.
