That paper is soooooo perfect. You knew you'd use it, but did you know it would be a perfect match? And I love how you mimicked the dock by putting the wood paper over half the LO. Too clever.
My little Tom Sawyer! I love this pic from our first and only camping trip this past summer. It was DS first camping experience and first fishing experience! We went up to Lake Casitas, up past Oxnard with friends and had a great time. On Saturday we decided to go down to the lake (which was scarily low!) and try our hand at fishing. We'd already been told not to expect to catch much, but it was the experience more than the catch.
Funny story, that kids' fishing pole is actually a 'Frozen' pole because the tackle shop didn't have any more 'boy' fishing rods left! My son didn't care and neither did I. He actually stuck with it for quite a while, determined to catch something. It was a lovely, if warm, day at the lake and it did, indeed restore our souls. When I sent this pic to my parents, Dad said "He looks like a little Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn!" I knew this would be one of the first pix scrapped and when I found that Pion paper at a LSS crop last month, it was time!
For Boys Only, Sports/Play and Hoarders. Those fish stickers are older than my son! LOL!
