My mother in law is not an easy person to shop for. However, this year I think I hit the Christmas gift giving out of the park for her. :D
She loves her kids and grandkids, so I took a picture that we all took on our summertime Hawaii vacation and blew it up to frame in a shadow box filled with handmade paper flowers. The Tropical Hibiscus flowers are by Heartfelt Creations. I stamped, blended ink on, die cut, and shaped all the flowers. Then I added yellow and hot pink flocking powder on all the stamen. I love the dimension and the luxe look. To add even more pizzazz and sparkle, I added little crystal rhinestone broaches and buttons throughout. I hope my mother-in-law likes it as much as I enjoyed making it for her!
