Beautiful from top to bottom! I love the patterned paper you chose and the gorgeous shade of red that you pulled from it to create your lovely poinsettia. Your friend is going to love it and be so proud to be giving it to her son and his family although she may not want to part with it once she sees it!
So there are two ladies at the retirement home that like special cards made for their kids (one has son and family and one has daughter and family). One of the ladies I'm super close to and she loves Poinsettia's so I always make her sons card with a poinsettia. This year while looking through my Christmas paper and thinking of current sketches I saw this journaling card in the paper pack and thought it might work for sketch #3 of the Dec Card Sketch Challenge. This is what I came up with. I cut the poinsettia from the Wrap It Up Cricut Cartridge.
