I did this early for #14 Elsie Challenge (scraplift a technique). I'm trying to get ahead before the holiday! I tried 2 new techniques on this LO: sewing &amp; embossing. I scraplifted the sewing idea from Rodeeogrl's Meeting Mason LO (http://www.scrapbook.com/scrapbook_layouts/showphoto.php/photo/428261/cat/fav)
Thank you Anna @ my local LSS for showing me how to use the sewing machine... I'm hooked!!! :)

Dearest Olivia,
You met Santa Claus when you were 4 months old, but you were too young to understand. Now that you are older, you are fully aware of the jolly old elf. You met him again this Christmas at Daddy's work, but wanted nothing to do with him. I thought you would be fine because we saw Santa so much at the mall, although from a distance. You were okay waiting in line, but panicked when I tried to sit you on his lap. You would have nothing to do with him until Daddy and I sat too. Poor Santa... I'm sure we were a heavy load!
