Give a Cheer
This year I have made Christmas cards not only for family and close friends, but also for my colleagues and former colleagues. What a wonderful way to express your thanks to your colleagues, even former colleagues by sending them a handmade card to show how much you appreciate them for their support throughout the year which helped you achieve your goals and meet tight deadlines.
Here is an example of a card I made for a former colleague and which I will post in the mail tomorrow.
Besides the listed items, I have also used Creative Expressions Eternity and Quilted Circles embossing folders and Marianne Design Ivy Corner.
I die cut the corners from white cardstock and painted them using a mix made of mod podge, metallic paint and glitter. The mod podge dries clear and allows the metallic color to keep its original vibrance and keeps the glitter in place. Therefore, the end result is a beautiful glittery piece with the glitter staying put and not flying all over the place and our two dogs no longer have glittery noses :-)
