Well, so far I think everyone thinks I'm nuts for actually scrapbooking this! But it was such a big part of our summer!
Journaling reads:
Fine project this turned out to be! I had hoped to teach these boys About responsibility, new life and eventually death. My dad and I poured hours of work into building duck pens that should last, three layers of wire later and lots of money. All that hard work was ripped to pieces and nothing but piles of feathers left here and there throughout the woods! My great lesson only included the death part. Bears do what bears do, I have to be honest though, I’m a little scared to go outside after seeing what those bears did to our pens. They ripped through the heavy duty dog fence wire like it was paper, just ripped right in half! That is a lot of strength! I’m also a little more than peeved at these bears, I’ve been watching and waiting all summer to get some decent pictures of a bear and all I get is a pathetic picture that you can hardly even tell it’s a bear, yet then they dare to come and eat our beautiful ducks! Ralph, Sal, Sophie & Julia Well since those bears wouldn’t co-operate this summer I’ll just use old pictures!
