Oh this inspires me! I have some fun photos from a camping trip with my youngest sons Venture Scout crew a few years ago when we went "wild caving" for Mothers Day weekend. Love the photos in your layout and how you included multiple pics.
Those photos seem to really show the darkness and the 'depth' you had gone. I love that you use several photos per page and that paper is perfect with the 'pinked' edge. And I agree.......leave the lantern on!!! Very cool pages!
Love your title on this one! The phrase and the font! Beautiful layout and I'm so glad to see a picture of Tom and one of you! I love caves and would love to do this one. I'm not sure how I would do going into one that far and not seeing another person. By the pictures, it looks like you are really isolated! I'm sorry you didn't see any bats - they are fascinating creatures. I'd say they were interesting to watch but the ones I've seen just hang there and sleep. Your border around the photos is very cool, reminds me of a giant postage stamp!
We passed the difficult rock part and the trail turned to a sand path. DH turned off the lantern and you couldn't see your hands in front of your face!
Thanks so much for your visit.
