Let's Celebrate!

I made this single layer card with stamps from a lot of different companies. I picked images that all looked like they were happy and dancing. I also used a tight color palette in my Copic coloring to keep everything looking cohesive.
I was channeling the Kool & The Gang song, "Let's Celebrate" and drew in a checkerboard floor (using single point perspective) thinking of those old fun light up disco dance floors. I also did some gold heat embossing to create a shimmery, fun background (plus it helped that I could avoid masking around all those wisps of the girls' hair -- LOL).
Lastly, I die cut from gold glitter card stock the celebrate script word using a Sizzix die, and, as the font was thin enough, I was able to curve it around the seated girl's head and tuck the ends of the word in her hands to have her holding up the word.
