The next page for my Grand Canyon/Arizona album. This is us eating at the El Tovar on the rim of the canyon.
Journaling: The El Tovar Hotel and Restaurant was a beautiful place… built on the south rim of the canyon. When the rain blew in, we decided to duck inside and eat an early dinner. We soon realized that we were a bit underdressed for the place. However, we were seated over near the huge wall of windows overlooking the canyon. Our view during dinner was fantastic. Unfortunately, the food wasn't so fantastic - even though it was by far the most expensive meal of our trip. Anyway, it was a good place to get inside and wait out the rain! July 31, 2014
