So I needed a Mickey Mouse inspired birthday card for a 25 yoa girl. I went through my supplies and came across some big round Disney World stickers that we got when we visited in 2006. If I remember right the stores handed them out in the bags when you purchased something. I cut the Mickey out of the sticker and made it the focal point of the card. The ideal/design of the card came from the bonus sketch of the Jan Card Sketch Challenge. The original sketch came from Pagemaps. I turned the sketch on it's side and I replaced the strip of paper with the wording "happy birthday". I punched the border with my new border punch. Then with the punch outs I put them randomly on the cardstock to make a patterned background. I pop dotted Mickey to give him dimension.

CHALLENGES:
1) January Inspirational Card Challenge - product category - Something new – use one of the newest items to your stash. I used the border punch, the happy birthday die and the spellbinders tool to get the diecut out. All three Christmas gifts!
2. Jan Card Sketch Challenge - bonus sketch - original from pagemaps
