I realized making a card this year with this image that I forgot to post this card last year when I made it April 2016. I needed a birthday card for a lady in her 70's that liked Yorkies. I went searching the internet and found a cute Yorkie in a cup at Cute as a Button Designs. But the cup had Holly in it as it was a Christmas Image. I wrote the designer for permission to remove the Holly so I could make it a birthday card. She said she would make me a Birthday Yorkie and this is what she came up with!! Adorable!! So my husband colored in the dog and inside of the box and I paper pieced the rest.
I can't remember the sketch but if I find it I will update it.
