What a wonderful picture of you and your son!!! This is just gorgeous!! Love all of the textures and that little spoon is so pretty! Amazing what you did with a blank slate!!
The photo is beautiful ,love all of your creative colouring of the paper and the black that highlights the the BW in the photo. The flower cluster is innovative and gorgeous.
I love that photo and love it against the blue. You did a wonderful job on the background inking and stamping. I love the mesh!! It looks so cool sprayed black. Next year I will save mine! Every inch of this looks so elegant and classy. Love the black embellishments and especially your beautiful black flower. Amazing layout!
Elizabeth, you put so much in your vision to create the most beautiful creative pages. The blue is subtle but yet the tranquility lets the beautiful photo shine. Well put together my friend
I immediately caught the ham packaging while looking at your page and thought "hot clever!". And then I started gazing all over this beautiful layout and WOW! I love the black behind the page and your elegant cluster of flower and flourish; love the stamping and small details, too - your spoon is a perfect touch!!!
This is absolutely fabulous, Elizabeth! I really love everything that you did with the paper and, of course, the amazing cluster of gorgeousness at the bottom!!! This is SO my style, too! I can't wait to be able to get going in my scrap room, too!
I can't believe I've made 3 layouts this month! Guess I'm making up for lost time when I didn't get any made in October, November and December!! Here's the promised follow-up to my previous layout...Mother's Tea 2013 with my youngest son, Daniel.
I started out with no papers in my stash that I liked with the picture so I inked up a piece of 12x12 paper on the backside. I have several papers I don't like that were given to me so thought I would put the plain white backside to use! After inking it in I still didn't like it so I bought some on Friday to choose from. I liked the Bo Bunny polka dot paper but still wasn't quite what I'd hoped for. So, I decided to ink the paper in more and this is what I came up with and I actually like it much better. I used Tim Holtz Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean with just a tad of Black Soot.
The "memories" and flourish chippies are from Creative Embellishments. I used liquid pearls (for the first time on chippies) in Royal Blue. The netting under the picture is from ham packaging! Also utilizing another of my handmade flowers. Black trim is from Pamela Wright's boutique, butterflies (I inked in the wings a bit with TH Blueprint Sketch to match my color better), teapot and spoon are from Reneabouquets. Curliques are wire from my stash that I wrapped around a pencil. Feathers are from Hobby Lobby. I added Stickles sporadically over the paper to match the bling in my blouse that is hard to see in the picture.
Stamps not listed:
Tim Holtz Urban Grunge and The Journey Sizzix Damask Greetings Docrafts Musicality
