Oh course you made a cute hanging heart in the middle of a card!! How you have time to make these super cute cards is amazing...I can barely fold over a sheet a paper!
Totally delightful. You have used so many hearts that this is the perfect Valentine. You did a beautiful job with this and I know you can do other kinds of cards in the same design. Love, love, love it!
Oh, LC, I knew you would come up with a wonderful idea using this design. I love the cute little lovebirds hanging in the center with your heart. How clever to emboss the paper with tiny hearts. Your layered heart dies were just perfect for this. I love the addition of the HAPPY and the Valentine Day banner. There is nothing that you can't do when it comes to cards. You are definitely the Queen of Cards. I'm so glad you made this. Who needs an electronic cutter when you can do things like this?
I knew that I wanted to try to lift it. Since I don't have a digital cutter, I used my layering heart dies and my manual machine. I first cut the dark pink pieces and decided on where I wanted my heart cut-out to be. After I die cut the first one, I used that as a template for the other three pieces so that they were all cut exactly the same. I repeated this with the smaller pieces of lighter pink using the next heart die down in the set. Once the light pink pieces were die cut, I ran them back through my machine using a tiny hearts embossing folder. I assembled my pieces and added an even smaller heart in the middle of the cut-out with a sweet image that I cut from a sheet of Doodlebug design patterned paper and a tiny twine bow. (I repeated this on the back of the heart as well.) I then added a die cut 'happy' and the stamped 'Valentine's Day' from Technique Tuesday's Say It - happy set.
Thank you Nylene for the awesome inspiration!
