This card idea came from Jennifer McGuire. I heat embossed a background stamp from Penny Black in white, and blended Peacock Feathers Distress Ink over it with a Mini Ink Blending Tool. I did the die cut (from Momenta) the same way. I trimmed the background with a Stitched Rectangle Die from Simon Says Stamp. I pressed the ink pad directly to the card base around the edges and on the sentiment strip. I adhered it all together with a tape runner, and used foam tape on the sentiment strip.
