These are some pages I have done of my Godson. It will be a year ago in a few months, that he passed away. He was 12 1/2 years old. Thanks to social media, we were all able to "be there" the last couple days with his family through his journey. My Godson was hydrocephalic and wasn't expected to live. He proved us all wrong! His mother is the most amazing woman I know! She has an unwavering faith. He was able to give life to 5 other people through organ donation.

Journaling:
The organ donation people asked us to write a few words to read in the room prior to going down for surgery. Then they will also read it to the teams that are taking his organs to their new homes to help the teams know him a little bit better

Nicholas Philip Paul

Born a broken little boy but through time & toughness made his mark in this world

Nicholas is a lover of all things musical. "Gangum style" saved his parents during long car rides by stopping the crying immediately.

Although Nick couldn't eat he loved a trip to the coffee house and listening to the whirls, clicks, and grinds that made his mama's go-to drink

Nicholas was involved in boy scouts of America where he earned the rank of scout. He played Miracle league baseball, challenger football, and various other buddy sports.

Nick likes bowling, fishing, roller skating and, ice skating. Last year Nick got a dream drive at packers training camp from corner back Quinten Rollins.

Nick has been to scout camp, movies, packer games, hockey games, and numerous baseball games. There was never a dull moment in his amazing life.

Nicholas is lucky to have a mama,a daddy, and a papa Dave. His big sister Ariana is his love and his big brother Raymond is his best friend.
The two of them tackled all things be they fun times or hard times. Side by side in their wheel chairs.

Never again when you look at a child that cannot walk and cannot talk do I want you to feel pity.
Nick is not a child to pity. He has done amazing things and activities his entire full and happy life.

Now after being told by doctors we'd be lucky if he'd live one year, we celebrate twelve years of our miracle and give him forward into the world and into yours arms to be a miracle for someone else.

For if I cannot serve in life, allow me to serve in death.
