Family comes in all shapes and sizes and for ours... that includes many 4-legged friends too. During the summer of 2011 our family had the pleasure of raising an orphaned white tail named Ginger. She became a big part of our family. Later that year it came time to let Ginger go and it was one of the hardest things we had to do. It's actually against the law to raise these animals unless you have a special license, but the game warden always calls upon our family to help out when an animal is in need (temporarily) knowing we have to at some point release it back to the wild if it survives. Ginger was no exception. These are a few photos of our family and Ginger during that summer. We released her back into the wild in Feb 2012
