I received this adorable giraffe stamp by Art Impressions in a prize pack from SB.com. (Thank you SB.com!) I decided to pair it with a sentiment stamp from MFT and a Doodlebug design mailbox doodle-pop to create a little scene. I stamped the giraffe using brown ink and colored it with Prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut around the image then also cut along the line of her mouth so that I could have her hold a tiny envelope in it. I die cut 2 frames using red heart paper. I adhered a cloud print acetate to the back of one of the frames and also added a strip of grass, my mailbox and my giraffe. To give the scene more dimension, I used foam tape to raise a second frame over top of the first. I wanted there to be grass in front of the image as well as behind so before adhering the top frame, I used double sided tape to add a strip of grass to the inside edge of it as well. I used blue cardstock inside my card so that when it is closed, it looks like a blue sky day.
