Give a Cheer
Bird card I made for my dear friend Angie, using Tim Holtz watercolor paper, distress inks, and Dina Wakley bird stamp. Used white "Hug Snug" seam binding for ribbon, added T.H. "Tumbled Glass", "Broken China" & "Vintage Photo" inks, w/water, crumpled up and dried for a soft vintage feel. Used tumbled glass, cracked pistachio and vintage photo inks with watercolor brush for the bird, and the branch the bird is standing on. (Leaves on branch that bird is standing on we're made with watercolor brush and peeled paint & forest moss.) Used tumbled glass and cracked pistachio on white card stock for flowers on top right. For leaves, used Martha Stewart leaf punch on white card stock then inked with forest moss and vintage photo then crumpled. Used Stampin Up bird/branch punch for longer smaller leaves with brown card stock and then did same treatment with forest moss. Inside just stamp and used Kiwi Lane template for heart.
