oh, this is amazing Robin! Congrats to your son, and thank him for us :) I love how you used the b/w photos and the design with the circles is just fabulous! The arrows and stars are a great added touch...so is the title!
What a GREAT bg!!! LOVE how you did this page and very cool photo! MAJOR kudos to your DS for overcoming his hurdles to make it! Congrats to him and great way to memorialize this monumentus occasion!
I am in awe of the way you have grasped digital scrapping! You are just a natural in the digi world. Looking at the date of this - February 17th, I'm also in awe of the way you are keeping up. This is so masculine - but still, so tender and caring from your perspective! Bravo!
Congratulations to your son! I'm commenting here on you last page for all three pages. I love the circles and how they make you feel like your really there. Fabulous job!
This is such a beautiful masculine page! I think his book (or books) will be awesome and such a treasure for him! You are an amazing mom to do this! Bill started in Military Police, which is what he wanted, and also drove a general around. When they were looking for a mp who would make a good Special Forces MP, he was recommended. The Special Forces MP program dropped and he was drafted into regular Special Forces - right from military police! Military Police is a very good place to be - and a good place to promote and move from!
20 Weeks ago on 03 Oct 2017 my youngest son left for basic training with the US Army. He graduated basic on 15 Dec 2016 and then started AIT training 03 Jan 2017. This week both Charlie and Echo Company's completed their MP training and held a joint Rite of Passage Ceremony. This ceremony signifies the end of their journey and completion of training. They are officially United States Army Military Police. This journey started in 2014-2015 when he was a Senior in high school. Due to some difficulties his journey took a detour and he had to overcome some hurdles before he was able to find his way. I am such a PROUD MOM! He did not let those hurdles and failures detour his dreams. This week he will be Graduating from training and heading to his duty station to begin his new journey.
