I love the combination of the rich red and the vibrant blue. The thin layer of brown matting is a perfect touch! Your husband definitely did an awesome job coloring this fabulous image! Love the embossing folders you used too :)
I like the dark colors of this. I think it goes well with the coffee theme. Your DH did do a great job on the coloring. I like the blue borders on the mat that pick up some color from the image.
I needed a birthday card for girl that likes coffee. I'm so glad Faith at From the Heart Stamps was able to re-open her store and is doing so well in her battle with brain cancer. My husband colored the image in Photoshop...did an amazing job...look at the steam from the coffee!! I struggled with this sketch a bit but think it turned out okay. They all can't be our favorites, right?!! I was trying to make the blue pieces represent the napkin in the image so I embossed them with the closest "napkin feel" embossing folder and distressed the edges. I used Sketch #3 from the Feb Card Sketch Challenge @ Scrapbook.com - the original sketch is Sketch Saturday#448. SUPPLIES: Digital Stamp: Coffee and Friends @ From the Heart Stamps Cardstock: Bazzill (walnut) Inks: Colored in Photoshop by my husband and printed on Canon Inkjet Printer Accents/Tools: Cuttlebug Wicker Weave Embossing Folder, Darice Wire Fence Embossing folder, Making Memories Edge Scraper
