WOW! This weekend was tough. First time ever I have not been able to be at one of your events. Thanks to a wonderful Army Mom (who I do not know) I was able to watch via "Live" Facebook feed and she even sent me some photos. "Including a photo of the hug I sent".

Today is such a very PROUD MOMENT, yet it is a very difficult one. Today the reality of your life decision to join and sever in the ARMY has set in. However, I have realized this is your choice and dream and you have over come so many obstacles to see this through. I can't be anything but PROUD! Tomorrow you leave for your duty station. Wishing you GOD SPEED and praying the GOD watches over you and all your battle buddies and those who serve.
