You are really and truly talented and absolutely have an artist's eye for not only your subject matter but also in HOW to use it in such a creative fashion that blows my mind. Oh that I would have that "eye"!

Surely he's bound to be feeling better now, and you have the *real* Skylar back, I just hate that he felt so awful! Your journaling in the circles captures each detail of his *ick* so perfectly.
Poor guy! He does look miserable! Great layout though, and I do agree that it's important to scrap some of the not so happy times. It's all about real life, right? :)
Awwwww, Deena, poor little guy. I hate when they're sick, it makes you feel so helpless. Your journaling is perfect, and not being funny but the color is perfect too (blue and green) cause he looks both!
Awww, Skyler looks so pitiful!! I was missing his spunky little smile just looking at the photo! I can only imagine how you felt! Was this from the never-ending ear infection? Hope he's feeling better! (Great job on the layout, though! ;))
Poor Skyler! I hope he's all better now! So sad...he's close enough to Seth's age that I really identify...when Seth is sick the first day I think it's kind of nice that he just wants to watch videos, and I can get a lot done, but after that it's just sad...one nice thing...when he's sick, he slows down enough to let me snuggle him!
You know you are a scrapper when you take photos of your family at their worst...and it's not a bad thing! :) For such a sour subject, this is a very good layout. You obviously put a lot of thought into it. I hope your boy is feeling better soon!
:( I think this was the worst sickness my boy has ever had. It was so horrible to watch my normally active boy just lay there for days and look at me with those pitiful eyes. I remember thinking how much I just missed my normal Skyler. I don't often scrap these "not so happy" moments, but it's a great reminder for me to be thankful for our health and just the ordinary-average-every day that I so certainly take for granted.
Journaling: I miss my little boy. I miss his sloppy kisses. I miss watching him dance in the living room. I miss his mischevious smile. I miss discovering his latest projects scattered on the bedroom floor. I miss his energetic spirit. I miss his laughter. I don't know who this is...all I know is that I miss my little boy.
